Ingredients
  

Popcorn
  • 8 cups popped popcorn use plain fat-free popcorn
  • 3 cups red velvet cake crumbs about 1/3 of a 9 x 13 cake
  • 22 oz white chocolate chips
  • 1 tbsp vegetable shortening such as Crisco

Method
 

  1. First pop your popcorn using an air popper or the stove. You can also use microwave popcorn.
  2. Melt your white chocolate chips along with the Crisco in a double boiler on the stove.
  3. Transfer popcorn to a large bowl, removing any unpopped kernels. Pour melted chocolate over popcorn and stir to coat completely.
  4. Pour popcorn onto a waxed paper lined surface and sprinkle with red velvet crumbs. Turn popcorn over with a spoon and sprinkle again for more coverage.
  5. Let the chocolate set before eating or packaging.
